(1) Hardness and wear resistance. The hardness of the tool material must be higher than that of the workpiece material, usually requiring it to reach above 60HRC. The higher the hardness of the tool material, the better its wear resistance.
(2) Strength and toughness. The tool material should have high strength and toughness to withstand cutting forces, impacts, and vibrations, preventing brittle fracture and blade collapse of the tool.
(3) Heat resistance. The tool material should have good heat resistance, able to withstand high-temperature cutting environments and have good oxidation resistance.
(4) Processability and economy. The tool material should have good forging properties, heat treatment properties, and welding properties; as well as grinding processing properties, and pursue a high performance-to-price ratio.
Properties and characteristics of coating tool materials and tool applications
Coating the tool is one of the important ways to improve the performance of the tool. The appearance of coated cutting tools has made a great breakthrough in cutting performance. The coating tool is coated with a layer or multiple layers of refractory compounds with good wear resistance on the tool body with good toughness, which combines the tool base with the hard coating, thus greatly improving the performance of the tool. The coating tool can improve the machining efficiency, improve the machining accuracy, extend the service life of the tool and reduce the processing cost.
About 80% of the cutting tools used in new CNC machine tools use coated tools. Coating tool will be the most important tool in the field of CNC machining in the future.
For instance, the application of titanium aluminum nitride (TiAlN) coatings has significantly enhanced the performance of high-speed steel (HSS) tools. These coatings provide superior resistance to oxidation and wear, allowing for higher cutting speeds and better surface finishes. Additionally, the use of diamond-like carbon (DLC) coatings on carbide tools has enabled machining of non-ferrous materials with minimal friction and heat generation, thus extending tool life and reducing downtime.
How many years has your company had production experience? Our company was established in 2000 and was reorganized in 2007 as NeK CNC tools Co.,Ltd. After so many years, our company has a team of terminal customers and a team of dealer customers. At present, we are one of the largest distributors of YG in China. We also have our own invested factory and our own OEM brand(NeK and SHITAEGER for insert)We are famous in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, China.
Do you have alloys for stainless steel, for titanium? Our brand inserts' advantage is good at process steel and stainless steel. Recently, we have also introduced inserts for process titanium alloy materials.

300~500 pcs. Foreign customers need to bear the freight by themselves.
That is the Production time? We have a large stock of all the common styles on the market. A small number of special types' inserts need to be re-counted after communication.
